A decade in, the Kinder Institute matters more than ever. The Institute combines history, political science and other coursework to provide an in-depth examination of our country’s founding principles and their continued relevance today. Coupled with unique study-away programs, students gain the experience to build a strong foundation for a wide range of careers. Community engagement is a hallmark of the Institute, which hosts events and presentations not only in Columbia but across the state and beyond.
Kinder Alumni Council Scholarship
In 2021, the Kinder Alumni Council established a scholarship to expand access and support students from different backgrounds and academic paths. The Kinder Alumni Council Scholarship helps students explore constitutional democracy and pursue study-away opportunities at Oxford University and in Washington, D.C.
