Parents Development Council

The Parents Development Council works directly with the Office of Development for Student Affairs to support a vibrant and successful program of parent giving.  Dollars raised support a variety of programs for our students and help build a more caring and cohesive university community.  The Council consists of parents of current Mizzou students and parents of alumni who are committed to enhancing the Mizzou student experience.

All parents are encouraged to contribute to the annual Parents Fund campaign. Funds raised through the Mizzou Parents Fund campaign help support essential programs across campus – programs offered through the Counseling Center and the Wellness Resource Center, Service and Leadership development programs, STRIPES (MU’s safe driving program), as well as guest speakers and lecturers covering a variety of topics.  Last semester MU was able to bring poet laureate Maya Angelou to campus who spoke to a standing-room-only crowd in Jesse Auditorium.
