The mission of the College of Arts and Science — MU’s largest academic unit — remains constant. We teach students to think and to succeed. For many, A&S means achievement and success.

Through its 33 departments and programs, A&S offers courses that are taught by star faculty, who, in turn, attract stellar students. More than 52,000 alumni worldwide are proof of the quality of this remarkable college. Many graduates honor their departments or programs with gifts that benefit future generations.
