Mizzou Annual Fund

The Mizzou Annual Fund plays an essential role in supporting MU students, programs and academic units. The annual fund works with alumni, parents, students, employees and friends to provide more than $2 million of much needed assistance each year.

Every Gift Makes a Difference

The Mizzou Annual Fund accepts contributions of any size. Donors can direct their gift to a specific college, school or endowed scholarship. Donations may also be used to:

Support the Chancellor's Fund for Excellence, which addresses the University's greatest needs.
Provide financial aid for our growing student body.
Enhance educational resources and extracurricular programs such as our great Marching Mizzou band, the MU Libraries and the International Center.
Help finance cancer treatment programs in the Children's Hospital, a highly respected and integral part of University of Missouri Health Care.
Encourage quality education and entertainment by contributing to the building of the new arts village. This area will house the theatre, art and music departments, as well as a performing arts center.

Tiger Calling Club

The Tiger Calling Club employs dozens of students who diligently work to improve this campus through increased communication and one-on-one contact with alumni. The Mizzou Annual Fund prides itself on hiring students who are very active across campus. Our callers are homecoming royalty, student leaders and true Mizzou fans. The Tiger Calling Club operates six days a week while school is in session. Tiger callers enjoy speaking with alumni, sharing college news, swapping funny stories and verifying or updating contact information.

Matching Gifts

Donors may make an even greater impact by utilizing company matching gifts. These programs allow companies to double or even triple the financial assistance their employees provide to educational and charitable organizations. Hundreds of corporations have established matching-gift policies with Mizzou. Contact your personnel office to see if your employer will match your contribution to MU, or call our Matching Gift Help Line at

To initiate a matching gift, the donor completes the company’s matching gift form and sends it along with a donation to MU. MU then completes the form certifying that it has received the employee's gift and that the organization is eligible to receive matching gifts, and then forwards the form to the company.

How to Make a Gift

For many donors, the easiest way to make a gift to the Mizzou Annual Fund is by check. Checks should be made payable to the University of Missouri-Columbia and mailed with a gift form (PDF) to:
