Scholarships pave the way to Mizzou as a destination university. MU attracts more high school valedictorians, Curators Scholars and Bright Flight Scholars than any other college or university in Missouri.

Scholarships open doors for capable, low-income students and encourage outstanding students to choose Mizzou over other colleges and universities. Innovative initiatives, such as the Honors College’s Discovery Fellows Program, enable undergraduates to work alongside faculty members on research projects. Scholarship support also motivates students to explore different cultures, either locally through community-service projects or globally through study-abroad programs.

At a time when many families struggle to pay for higher education, scholarships provide access and affordability, helping to ensure that our brightest students become our most educated, capable citizens.
